2008 - 09 Changes to the Parking System
Effective August 1, 2008
2008 - 09 Parking Map
1. Increase in Parking Fees - Gold ($288), Red ($144), Purple
($74), Silver ($74),
Green ($74), Blue ($59 - no increase), Meter rate
($1.00/hr)
2. Three Blue permit lots will be converted to Red: Lot 1 (Police
Substation), Lot 54B (North
(North Campus Center), Lot 45 (Blake and Taylor)
3. All Magenta permit areas will be converted to Purple (Nez
Perce Drive and Blake Avenue)
4. Upper Nez Perce Drive (lot 85R) will be converted from Red
to Purple
5. Daycare permits will be available for a fee of $10
6. Family Housing permits will be available for a fee of $37
7. All Departmental permits will be available for a fee of $288,
equal to rate of Gold
8. Certain citations will have an increased fine amount:
Citation B1: No Parking,
increased from $25 to $35
Citation B7: Illegal Use,
increased from $100 to $125
Citation B14: Display of
Lost/Stolen Permit, increased from $100 to $200
Citation C4: Not a Motorcycle
Space, increased from $15 to $20
Citation D1: No Parking 2am
- 6am, increased from $20 to $25
Citation G5: Vehicle Impound,
increased from $100 to $150
9. Visitor parking permits will be available at the Student
Union Building for $1.00/day
10. A University of Idaho Disability permit will be created
and will be available for an annual
fee of $74; all temporary disability permits
will be available for $1.00/day
