Summer Enforcement In Effect May 12 - August 22, 2008
Effective May 12, 2008 through August 22, 2008 valid permits are required in all Gold and Green lots. Meter payment is required in all meters and all specially marked spaces (reserved, disability, service, delivery, etc...) are enforced year round. Regular spaces in all Blue, Red, Silver, Purple and Magenta lots do not require a permit beginning May 12th through August 22nd. Regular enforcement will resume on Monday August 25, 2008 at 6am.
08/09 Parking Permit Sale Dates
Parking and Transportation Services will be opening up parking permit sales at an earlier date this year in an effort to avoid the start of fall semester rush and provide an option for planning ahead. In addition, the early sale date is necessary with the August 1, 2008 expiration date of 2007 parking permits.
Parking permits for the 2008–2009 academic year will go on sale ONLINE beginning
June 26, 2008. Parking permits will go on sale in the parking office beginning July 10, 2008.
2007-2008 permits will expire August 1st. 2008-2009 parking permits will be required in all Gold and Green lots beginning Monday August 4th. 2008-2009 parking permits will be required in all Red, Blue, Purple and Silver lots beginning Monday August 25th at 6am.
Greek house presidents must enter names of those members living IN HOUSE into the system in order to make them eligible to purchase a purple permit. Any in house member that has problems purchasing a purple permit online will need to contact their house president.
Sustainability Efforts
In an effort to reduce waste and promote sustainability, Parking Services will continue to use letterhead and envelopes with former U.I. logo until our supply has been depleted. We look forward to using the University's new logo at that time.
Personal Reserved Spaces now Enforced until 9PM
As of Tuesday April 8, 2008 Parking and Transportation Services will begin the process
of updating all signage on personal reserved spaces to state: Enforced Monday -
Friday 6AM - 9PM. This change once completed will be enforced as stated year round.
Personal reserved spaces, for example, consist of those in lot 40 at the Administration
Building that are reserved for the President, Vice Provost, etc... Many personal
reserved spaces are located within lots throughout campus. Be sure to always check
signage upon entering parking lots and at individual parking spaces.

Red Law School Parking Lot
Portions of Red Lot 24, West of Law Building off of Stadium Drive will be closed beginning Monday, October 15th due to construction staging for renovation of Law School class rooms. Area is expected to reopen for permit holder use in February. View Map of closed area here.
